Born in Glendale, CA, Brad Mercer was raised in Los Angeles and began his music career at the age of five. Performing at the drop of a hat, it was evident to everyone that Brad was destined to be an entertainer.
At age twelve was writing and composing songs and in Junior High and High School took advantage of his focus on the Performing Arts in addition to his music. Brad organized his first rock band to become active in charity and school fundraising events.
He has honed his many talents, ultimately becoming a fine professional performer, singer/songwriter, recording artist and radio personality. Brad can play just about any instrument that is handed to him, and is best known for his magical work on the guitar. He surprises audiences when he picks up the banjo and plays as though he was born on the Mississippi Delta.
Over the years Brad has recorded, produced and engineered six albums, toured with his own show throughout the nation focusing on Nevada (Reno/Tahoe, Vegas), as an Impressionist/Comedian in the Comedy Circuit opening for the likes of Jay Leno, George Carlin and Jeff Foxworthy, in the medias of radio and television doing voice-overs, commercials, host and MC work and television theme songs including the NBC television series "Walking Tall". Then add to all of this his involvement with the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the American Heart Association charity events and you realize Brad’s experience takes him to many different levels of professionalism.
While on Rock 105 radio in Jacksonville, Florida, he wrote and produced the recording and music video for the single, "A Fighting Chance." Because of the song and video’s popularity and tremendous financial success, Brad was able to collect thousands of dollars for the local food bank to feed their many thousands in need.
Topping it off with his own radio and television show in the Coachella Valley, Palm Springs, California. He recently wrote, produced and directed a comedy spoof on the popular tv series, “CSI: Miami” called “CSI: Alm Prings” which can be viewed on www.CSIalmPrings.com and wrote, produced & directed the dark comedy smash hit, "Sushi Anyone?" at www.SushiAnyoneTheMovie.com. He is now the recipient of the “Lifetime Achievement Award” for Best Rock DJ of 2012 and the "Alan Freed Lifetime Achievement Award" given to him by the LA Music Awards in Hollywood.
